These Terms cover all design work with Bink Studios. If your quote or offer says something different, your quote or offer applies.

1. Ways to work together

• Per Project: Scoped and quoted upfront. Quotes are valid for 30 days
• Custom Offer: For regular clients. A custom menu based on your recent months of work. Prepay with a Burst or Retainer and save
• Day Rate: A priority day, up to 8 hours, with a half-day minimum. Quoted on request

2. Bursts, Retainers and Day Rates

• Prepaid Bursts: Use within 60 days of payment. Any unused balance expires after that
• Monthly Retainers: Lock in for 3–6 months at a time to keep your rate. Unused balance rolls over for 1 month only. After your first term, pause or cancel with 30 days' notice
• Day Rates: No rush fee on top, and usually bookable within a week. Move it with 3 business days' notice

3. Payments

Invoices are due within 7 days. Per Project work needs 50% upfront to start, with the balance due before final files. Menu billing is set out in your custom offer. Prepaid Bursts, Retainers and Day Rates are paid in full before work begins. All prices are in AUD and include GST.

4. Late payments

• 7 days overdue: work pauses, and working and final files are held
• 14 days overdue: a $50 admin fee applies
• Paused for 30 days or longer: a $150 restart fee applies

5. Timelines and your part

Timelines are agreed before we start. Please send assets, content and feedback within 5 business days. If they come later, your booked dates will move. If a project goes quiet for 30 days or longer, it's paused. Your deposit covers the work done so far, and a $150 restart fee applies when you're ready to continue.

6. Revisions

Each project includes 1 round of revisions unless your quote says otherwise. One revision is one round of feedback, sent together. Extra rounds are charged at your menu or quoted rate. A new direction counts as a new project. Your sign-off by email or message locks in the final design.

7. Rush work

Need it sooner? A 25% rush fee applies. We'll agree in writing first.

8. Meetings

Meetings and check-ins are set out in your quote or offer.

9. Supplied assets

We can't be held responsible for issues caused by low-quality supplied files. Please send existing logos, images and final copy at a usable, print-ready quality, and we'll flag anything that looks unsuitable. Redrawing or reworking supplied assets is quoted separately.

10. Collaborators

Sometimes we bring in trusted collaborators, like designers, marketers or web developers, to work under our direction. You're always briefed and billed by Bink Studios. Anything billed separately is flagged in your quote first. Collaborators keep your project confidential. Any IP they create passes to you on the same terms as term 13 below.

11. External costs

Fonts, stock images, site plugins, mockup files and printing are passed on at cost. We'll always approve them with you before buying. Manufacturing isn't part of our design services.

12. Cancelling and refunds

Deposits aren't refundable once work begins. Unused Burst or Retainer balance isn't refundable. If you cancel, we'll invoice any work done beyond what you've paid. Refunds are only considered in exceptional circumstances.

13. Ownership and files

Your ideas, brand and products stay yours. The IP in the final approved work becomes yours once final payment clears. Unused concepts and working files stay with us. Final files arrive within 2 business days of final payment, or as set out in your offer for regular clients, as print- and web-ready exports plus editable vector files. We may show the design process and/or finished work in our portfolio and on socials once the project has launched, or 6 months after it's finished, unless an NDA is signed.

14. The legal bit

Paying your first invoice means you accept these Terms and our Privacy policy. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the Australian Consumer Law.
